A lot of us reject these emotions because they can be deeply uncomfortable and painful, or we dont want to be "negative" but...
Allowing ourselves to experience and express these emotions is the way to release the negativity.
So there is no point in pretending to be happy when we really aren´t...
Experiencing all of these feelings is necessary for self-expansion, we can´t just pick and chose the feelings that we like more, that would be neglecting a part of ourselves. We need to embrace the shadow as well as the light.
So listen...How do you REALLY feel?
When you do you will also be in touch with your inner voice, which is our source or wisdom and usually speaks to us through our emotions.
There is many ways in which we can get in touch with our feelings and release them safely, it´s a good idea to try and avoid projections so we don´t hurt others...
The first thing we need is to have the intention to open our Heart and feel fully. It may be a longer process for those of us who have neglected certain emotions for very long...but it is possible.
We can write them down, sing, dance, talk to a friend about it, paint, cry, shout...any way of expression that feels right to you is perfectly fine.
There is no right way to do it, only your way.
Breath into the feeling, give it your full attention, it has a message for you.
Be there for yourself, don´t rush the process, take your time, and when you´re done move on with something that rises your vibration. I suggest taking a bath with sea salt, or even better swimming in the sea to cleanse your energy field. You can light some candles, burn some incense, listen to mantras...
You can do anything you enjoy that is very nurturing and you consider self-loving. This is a moment in which you´re probably very open and you need to take good care of yourself, so avoid any kind of negativity or harsh energy.

Allowing ourselves to feel must be something we do everyday, and not just sometimes...I know it can be challenging but it´s worth it!
